hell of a thread man. I think you should keep it up with the super hero figures. I'd pay good money for a Juggernaut and I would LOVE to see a high quality Doomsday. hes my fav tank from either DC or Marv. also the supe's from Hyperion is hilariously ironic to me. im positive Hyperion is marvels stab at an evil superman also ive never heard of the prime character. that dude looks like he lives at a gym.
Well I finished up my little repaint of my Warbotron X-Ray. I usually like to use spray paint for colors like this this, but I was out of metallic purple spray so end up just brush painting it. It's also not the best picture right now, but I'll take some better ones later. Before: After:
Both are iGear figures just with full repaints. For some weird reason iGear used under saturated pastel colored plastic for their Mini-Warrior figures which looked way off. Which kept me from buying them at first, but when they went on sale at BBTS I snagged them up at a good price.
That Gears looks a zillion times better. That faded red he had just sucked. Yours looks like he would fit comfortably among the MP's now!
I was getting my Grimlock figures out of storage this weekend, and it got me thinking about repainting the head to my Pretender Grimlock shell to look a little more realistic. I've gotten pretty good at painting 6" scale heads, and I think it would look pretty cool with a nice paint job.
