I love the Ultra Prime project. Those green arms look familiar.... What are they from?
....the arms remind me of the arms from a Savage Dragon figure.

I dunno. I mean, Grimlock as a Mustang is a bit silly in and of itself. But those feet look like they belong on a much larger toy.

At least, this thread is still alive.

Do I need to modify Rook's balljoint to stick Astrotrain head on it?

Short answer you will. I transplanted the balljoint from Astrotrain onto Rook. I cut off Rook's original balljoint, and then cut a square notch into the piece on which the balljoint was mounted. I cut the base piece that Astrotrain's was mounted to into a square shape then glued it into place. After the glue dried I used my dremel tool to smooth and shape it to the contour of the Rook part.

You have some really cool ideas and executions. :)
I don't know about anyone else but I find your thread hard to read/follow since you attach things at the end. I think your stuff is good enough that you should just do new items in their own threads.

I'm late to the party, but I really dig that CW Ironhide. Excellent use of the Rook mold. I don't own it, but it's pretty versatile from what I've seen. And that Classics Astrotrain head is a great choice for Ironhide.
