I also cut the black sliding posts a bit to accomodate a more flush chest hood transformation. Be careful handling those afterwards.

Not sure if it's exactly the same as brunkion. I haven't worked on this custom for since.

I posted it on SMOG's profile awhile back.

Thanks for reminding me. Need to do those legs

Yo SealiMe! Thanks so much for those pics, they really helped clarify some areas I was wondering about. You n Brunkion are the best!

Currently have most of the transformation mods done, waiting on a junker classics sunstreaker I just won from evilbay to replace some of the black polypro parts, have the new head well underway too.

I'll post pics here as soon as I get somethin juicy enough to share!:D

    Cheers n thanks again gents!

again, I'm not sure if i did it the exact same way as brunkion. I hope it did help though.

Yeah this is one beautiful custom. Fun to figure out too.

Be careful cutting those sliding bars.

I keep forgetting about this custom myself.

Hey man! Yeah, a little so far, just got a junker Classics Sunstreaker the other day from Evilbay & have started parts swappin. Still tryin to tweak the whole "neck-chest-torso" mistransformation assembly, turnin out to be a bit more of a hassle than I thought but still fun!

    :D

Hey Seali, any chance you can take some shots showing the angles of the cuts of the inside chest pieces from an angle? I've got most of the cuts correct, but some are hard to see...

    Thanks,

    - Gregg

    Awesome!

From what I remember, I also glued the clear sliding parts.

Those don't get glued, but the panels of the torso do due to the screw holes being cut... :)

Do the clear sliders on all your guy's customs slip out all the way if pulled too far due to the cutting away of the sides of the torso? Im just curious if I might not have cut away too much.

If I did, I can most likely cobble together a retaining system to keep them in.

Mine does, but it's just fine... no worries here. I just need to add an Autobot symbol! :)

I remember the hood slider work the same way and the torso one just glued in. It didn't have to slide anymore and just stayed in place.

When I transform mine, it needs that extra play to slide so that the chest can pull out front to clear the base of the neck so it can go into the abdomen for transformation.
