    Seems like Hasbro thought a *heavy* retool of Arcee would work for Chromia: [IMG]

    OH MY GOD! I KNEW that mold looked familiar! It's fine but man that was just gnawing at me.

    ^ As someone pointed out too... she'd make a good Fembot version of Afterburner. They're already using (Cyberverse) Prime Arcee for a Protectobot repaint... so why not?

    I saw her and Arcee at the show and they looked amazing. Chromia is one of the best retools I've seen and Arcee is going to make us G1 fembot fans VERY HAPPY.

    How did people not know who that mold was right off? 0-o Do I just spend an abnormally large amount of time playing with that mold?

    They got me too. Folks were so crowded around the case, I didn't get a good look until I got back and saw the official pix. Even then, I didn't know it was a retool. How cool is this huh, 3 fembots in one wave. Whew!!

    For me though that Arcee is right up there with Jetfire and Brainstorm.

    lmao, Hasbro stole your idea, you should totally sue them..........but since they own both the mold and the character and her face......... but yeah creds go to you for thinking of it first.

    Gonna pick up one of your Chromia heads for the new Hasbro coming out. Your sculpt still wins bro and it fits on the mold already!

    Thanks a million!!

    Very much appreciated!!

    Actually I was totally flattered when I learned that Chromia was a retool and used the same base figure that inspired my Indigo design. To me, that just means Hasbro saw my work and as an artist, if the BIG BOYS take notice, it just means you're doing something right. Just wish they'd hit me up, as I'd love to work on a few things for them!!

    BTW, please check out the "3 new full figure models" I built, at: www.facebook.com/tecromdesigns Please comment, "SHARE" and "LIKE" my Tecrom Designs Facebook page. Thanks!! Tecrom Designs

    Yeah, since I have a copy of all your femmbot heads and used it for my Chromia awhile back I can still say with all honesty that yours is still superior and will make a nice upgrade for the new version. That sure was one hell of an awesome remold hasbro did with this. Even their stock head is fairly decent.

    Is the material very fragile? I'm thinking of getting this for my Hasbro Chromia, cause the tiny stock head looks sort of silly (in my opinion). Really worried that her neck will snap though. o.o;;

    It went in fine. It posed, turn, spun and transformed fine. I got stupid and tried to pop the head out, and it snapped off at the neck.

    FUD is fragile if you move it wrong. But otherwise it's fine.
