This is Universe Blaster basically I removed the wings repainted him and figured out a boombox mode.

He doesn't appear to have legs. Black toy against black backdrop=invisibility.

 

He's a floating amputee!  

 

Not bad. It's kind of hard to see the work in these pictures, as they're a bit small and blurry, but he looks good.

I'm wondering if you might want to also remove the nosecone from his right arm. Since he no longer has a jet mode, it just becomes unnecessary kibble.
