Here is the final figure in the set (besides Piranacon.) All are the result of about three years of parts scrounging, patience, scratchbuilding, and a little procrastination. Most of the figures in the set owe their existence to no less than four different toys (in some cases up into the double digits in donor figures) and all have an element of scratchbuilding as well. This team was the template for my Stunticon group that I released last year, and Piranacon will share the same "frame style" combined mode. I took a different approach with the alt modes on them. I found the original "Sea Monster" concept kind of silly, and have changed up the creatures to be a little more menacing (doing away with Tentakil's "Sigmund the Sea Monster" mode, and changing Skalor's Coelacanth monster to the far more powerful and intimidating Dunkleostus.) I also made a conscious effort to have the bot-modes represent different body types (slim, stocky, short, tall, etc.,) because it adds a little visual interest to the set, and mirrors one of the few things I like about the recent selection of retail sets (Animated, and Prime series showcasing different bot body styles.) I also limited the color pallette to a total of 4 base colors to further unify the group, and serve a more cohesive combined mode. I alos did away with the weapon modes for each, as they looked like an afterthough on Hasbro's part with the originals, and I did not want mine to suffer the same issue (3 modes were hard enough to come up with!)
Snap Trap is an amalgamation of 7 different Transformers, and 5 different Zoids. I really wanted him to look massive and powerful in both modes. The "Butcher of the Bogs" deserved to have an imposing look. Out of all the Seacons I built, he is my all-around favorite. He has articulated hands, an opening and closing mouth in beast mode, and by virtue of one of the base figures, a spring loaded "power punch" waist. I scratch built his word, which will be replicated in larger scale for Piranacon. I did away with the "blades" on his ass in beast mede, as I saw no anatomical correllation in any turtles I've ever seen. I hope you guys have enjoyed looking at the individual figures. Piranacon will be coming soon!

Hate to say it, but my least fave of the group. I would probably rank them as so:

    Tentakil
    Nautilator
    Overbite
    Seawing
    Skalor
    Snaptrap

I'm getting some serious hearts of Steel vibes from Snaptrap. Give him a muted paint job with more brass and steel and he'd fit into that continuity really well. He also has some elements of Animated/classics.

Again, love this one. I like the fact he has the feet of the toy but that they also come off a little flippery, more fitting of a Seacon.

I'd probaly have made the turtle limbs match rather than the mismatching feet he has here but it still works. My only bit of criticism.
