Bought all four in strong/black/flexible. Also a set of slammers. Can't wait to get to work on them. Estimated to ship by Feb 20.
Awesome! Feel free to show pictures when you have them all painted up! Oh please do! You won't regret it!
I'm bound to get a Dejector to make into Rosanna at some point, but if you did the cassette combiners, I'd buy them all!
Thanks Josh! I'm sure it will be! You have an excellent track record of painting cool characters and I don't expect this time to be any different. Have fun! Thanks Leo! Argh...that's the thing that slipped my mind...I knew I should have painted my mitmitie pink...But I love a black and silver mitmitie anyway!
Unfortunately, the quick answer is no, they won't...Their disc forms are similar in size to the FOC disc minions.
Quick question, Is it possible to scale up the Mitmitie by another 50% (roughly 3 inches) so that it is somewhat in scale with the original casette tape? I mean, the prices are affordable and I'll really love to have some versions that are larger and scaled somewhat with the MPs.
Picked up my set in Black-Strong-Flexible. I had Rumble,Frenzy,Eject, and Rewind sent. A few notes on the quality - The designs and figures are awesome. I love the articulation, accessories, etc... It's like the PE figures with a real purpose (working w/ Soundwave). Unfortunately, the material QC varies wildly. Some of the figures look fine in BSF. Decent detail, etc... But a few of the figures had the details so dulled that you could barely make them out (a surface practically flat. This was my first Shapeways order. Now I know what to order/not to order. If the QC was consistently like the stronger figures in my set - I'd go BSF all the way. Since the quality varied quite a bit - I'll definitely do polished and/or extra detail in the future.
Polished is the same figures you got put into a tank with small stones. Polished will let you trade detail for smoothness. Personally I've liked polished aluminide but haven't gotten my guy in yet to confirm this model in it. But no matter the materials there will be variations.
