?

What are your thoughts on how to release this kit?

  1. Get Shapeways done by Spring. Painting req'd, but it will be quickly available for all 5 FOC molds

  2. Take up to 1 year to design & release via 3rd party. I can WAIT so I don't have to PAINT.

  3. Do both Shapeways (release soon) and 3rd party. (KO's will likely happen but I want the original)

  4. I just want SOMETHING to fix my Bruticus--a low-priced knockoff is all I need

I can't get over how this somehow makes him look actually beefy.

Question though, can we get a shot without the Blast Off and Vortex parts? To me, they seem completely unnecessary.

This is fantastic! I have been looking at this on and off you have made me rethink selling my Bruticus to the point that I will more then likely get the full set if I keep it.

    Awesome awesome awesome!

Man if a 3rd Party partnered up with you, that would be epic. Especially for those of us who don't have a paint bone in our body.

Wow, I'd love something like this for my Fruiticus, unfortunately like others - I'd never be able to paint it, especially not in matching colors (colorblind)

Though I don't know if the chest shield looks just a little too big, or if it emphasizes the fact that his head is too small.....

I am seriously considering getting this, depending on the price, but if I do I plan to go with straight up black and then paint some minor detail work into the plastic.

Great work! Try contacting Maiden Japan, he did a joint venture to mass produce his Junkion upgrades. Might be a viable route for this if there is enough interest.

Any sort of guesstimate on the timeline for availability and price on this set? It will give me a good reason to bust out the paint and brushes again. I've been pretty lazy as of late just using Sharpies and paint markers to do touch-ups.

covering those spindly connectors and decent sized feet and hands, i think are what help with that.

    Agreed!

This looking promising. I did not believe this figure could be saved but somehow you may have. Looking forward to your painted pictures.

This is really fantastic work! The new add ons look really smooth and clean, like they were originally meant for this group of figures.

I didnt think Brawns add on gun would make that much of a difference but seeing your pictures of the kit fully painted, it makes a huge difference!
The legs just look so skinny but the guns hide it well

I cant wait for it to hit Shapeways!
Do you have an estimate of how much it will cost?

    Once again, really well done!

I'd be very interesting purchasing at least one set, but like some others have said, i'm not so keen on the parts for Vortex/Blast Off.

Wondering what these would like like just simply in black or silver as i'm not the strongest with it comes to painting/colour matching with the figures I own.
