?

What are your thoughts on how to release this kit?

  1. Get Shapeways done by Spring. Painting req'd, but it will be quickly available for all 5 FOC molds

  2. Take up to 1 year to design & release via 3rd party. I can WAIT so I don't have to PAINT.

  3. Do both Shapeways (release soon) and 3rd party. (KO's will likely happen but I want the original)

  4. I just want SOMETHING to fix my Bruticus--a low-priced knockoff is all I need

Even though I am late by 8 years, this is a nice alternative to the Microblaze Creations Military Titan which is out stock possibly forever, which sucks because that figure is really game accurate, and as far as I could tell the lower arms of it won't just pop off while moving the arms like how the official Foc Onslaught toy's arms would always just pop off whenever I move the arms. It is sad that Hasbro or Takara haven't revisited the Foc combaticons, and give them all updates in terms of sculpting, articulation, possibility, and not looking like a pathetic version of the ingame model.

While we're resurrecting this thread... is there any chance of putting the Wrecktifier pieces up on Thingiverse or Cults3d now that many more of us have home 3D printers and don't necessarily want to/have to rely on Shapeways anymore?

I mean, assuming the designer even hangs out around here anymore lol.

The SDCC color version was impossible for me to find in the past year unless it was like $70 or above. I ended up settling on a black uncolored version I found on ebay the past year for $13 and just by itself it makes the combined mode look so much more solid and menacing. When I get around to painting it, I'd love to post it on radicons

I'd buy this if it was on Cults!

Yeah overall I'm really surprised no one else tackled these guys...TBH I was really hoping Planet X would take a shot (they still might???). There was a 3rd party legends set teased but it never materialized.

I'm still on the boards! Yeah I'd consider putting Wrecktifier up on Cults for those with 3D printers. (It is still on Shapeways for those without 3d Printers...) I can't put the OG Boosticus kit there though because I sold the design to X-Transbots. AFAIK there are still some kits floating around at retail.

Thanks. Yeah I still use Lego from time to time to visualize the sculpt before executing. I also sketch 90% of my designs first. I find the visualization part essential. Really nice job on the Legends minibot, BTW. TBH I have had one in the works as well...been working on it for a while, took a lot of time....totally different design tho. I'll share it soon!

Hey that would be cool. Jeez seeing this bumped is like a trip down memory lane!
