    That looks pretty damn good. How did you get the blue to mottle like that? Is it just through regular 'ol dry brush weathering, or something else?

    My guess would be to lay on a thin layer of mottled black & then paint on a thin layer of blue for the top coat - but no idea, honestly.

    GREAT work though - makes me almost want this mold.

    A layer of black, semi-gloss in this case, and then the blue was applied mostly with stippling. Over that is a layer of semi-gloss clear coat.

    Ah. I wish I could find some clear-coat that actually works instead of ruining metallics and creating a waxy, lumpish mess. Congrats on the epic custom though.
