This is my Day of the Machines TORQ-V. He is made using DOTM Autobot Armor Topspin. I removed Topspin's head and neck and some of the spikes as well as both fists and his right claws. I took off the Nascar window and cut parts from the back half of the car and attached them to the legs. I gave him a gun/knife attached to his right arm and some exhast pipes from a spare Clocker I had. I then repainted him leaving much of the original gray car parts. I spent a great amount of time on the face, which was Topspin's chest. With the exception of flat black and flat aluminum, all the paint colors are custom. I got the purple windows by first spraying the blue plastic with clear mat finish so the paint would have something to stick to and then using a very thinned down red paint. I feel that this is a great upgrade to TORQ III. The aesthetic I was going for was an industrial looking bot that could have easily been built on Earth. And ofcourse he needed the giant pink face. |

I gotta admit, when I finished painting him, I did notice the similarities to Krang and his mechanical suit (not the King Kong Bundy one). So if anyone wants to do a TMNT crossover figure inspired by this, go for it. |
