Saw the final pics, this really makes me miss my tidalwave figure XD

 

Okay, here we go. He's can support a variety of poses thanks to the base figure being Unicron. The command deck rises and falls, the main guns all rotate.

Head rotates and raises. To facilitate a better vehicle mode, I made a false deck that is one piece. It snaps in place over the robot mode deck. As an advantage I could do some cool detailing on it.

Vehicle mode looks good, probably doesn't lock in place as well as some of my other work, but I'm not stressing it.

Now I just have to figure out where to put him. He's taller than the Skorponok I built by a couple of inches and I only have one shelf where he will fit.
