    Valipha - Breacher Cannon

No one else has any idea of how long my Breacher has been waiting for this. A small shoulder cannon was made for him what seems like centuries ago, and he's been waiting for a real cannon ever since.

Well, here it is: Valipha - Breacher Cannon

"A special operations variant of Breacher's cannon, Valipha delivered energy bolts silently. The cannon switched power for speed, with a camera lens disguised as a scope to ensure every bolt went straight.

Add in a missile launcher capable of firing twin missiles simultaneously and Valipha morphed into artillery, letting it rain warheads.

Valipha disguised one last feature. The back of the cannon didn't store ammunition, nor did it weigh enough to act as a bludgeoning tool. It held a c-clip, changing Valipha into a handheld blaster. Sacrificing accuracy for the freedom to fire in all directions, Valipha's handheld form was suited to close up fights, where aim wasn't such an issue."

And of course I'd never get away with making Breacher leave his cannons behind. Whenever he needs to go anywhere quickly, Breacher can pack both cannons onto his vehicle mode, ready to blast through any enemies in his way!

    Fantastic!

I saw someone repaint a Breacher black, and make an Eject/Rewind Combo out of him. I thought they went really well with Tank Rumble/Frenzy, the only thing they were missing was dual guns of their own - this might be the solution!

:)  Good to hear, thanks fafireguy.

    Thanks a lot CodeXCDM. :)

Oh trust me, my wallet isn't much better. I think mine hates me now. :lol

    Thanks spartan. :thumb

Wow, that's creative. I always knew the Breacher mold was versatile! I'd love to see an Eject/Rewind pair with Valipha! :)

    Thanks Bruticus82.

Hello, did you get Breacher's cannons made in "white, strong and flexible"?

How's the finish i.e. very pitted or smooth?

Do you plan to paint them or dye them?

Hi kaszal, the print you see here is in White Strong and Flexible (WSF). This material usually comes across as relatively smooth at this scale, with a slight texture to it. I wouldn't call it pitted, but it's not perfectly smooth either.

I will be painting my Valipha set soon, I just haven't decided on whether to paint them blue or black yet.

    Thanks for looking. :)

Very nice, thanks for the photos.

Did you put some clear plastic in the muzzles? Can I ask how did you make those?

The muzzles are still clear, actually. It's the fact the insides are still white that causes them to look like there's a clear piece there. :)

The Valipha cannons don't seem to be on Shapeways anymore.

Do the designs 'expire' or have they been removed by the designer?

These cannons were designed a long time ago, they have since been removed for redesign. An updated version is in the works. :)

Nice one, and thanks for not being prejudiced against zombie-thread-revivals ;)

I think Breacher and Windcharger are arguably the best scout class figures. I managed to get hold of the Japanese AA version of Breacher at a reasonable price off Yahoo Japan through ZenMarket's website.

When you relist his canons can you make them available in the new premium black material?

These cannons are still in the redesign phase, so material availability hasn't been finalized yet.
