Any update on this? Maybe at least getting the Buzzsaw flipped version up on Shapeways as well? I'm still itching to start on this project.

Yeah, sorry for the long delay. There is a problem with shapeways and the tolerance level using the colored sandstone. Each time I submit the model it gets approved, but then 2 weeks later when it finally goes to print I get an email telling me it's failed. I'll take a look at it again when I get the chance, sorry for the inconvenience.

Good news is I've been working with a 3rd party group to release some incredible stuff in the future :)

That might actually be easier and the quality would definitely be better, I can tell you that. I'll look into it.

Nothing like finishing this project after sitting on it for over a year. Here's my painted-up version of ol' Laserbeak. I started by airbrushing, but then I switched to hand painting in an attempt to have the paint overcome the detail issues inherent in the Shapeways print. This guy was printed in Frosted Ultra Detail.

Great job on the Shapeways sculpt, Nyarlahotep. I'm grateful to have some version of this figure in my collection.

Damn i want it so much. It makes me sad that no one produces and sells it in color. Not even talking about some new molds. Why 3rd party companies are ignoring Robot Heroes :(
