Thanks for sharing Brunkion! The Brothers Wing really do look sweet together like that.
Too bad we never ever saw both of them in action together in the show. It would have made a good action scene.

    Hope you like them guns!

What I'd really love to see is replacement heads for the mold. Seriously, I've got Dreadwing, but never really pose him because I'm scared the head will break!

Actually, go one step further and do what you did with FE Starscream and replace all the rubber parts with stronger plastics xD Wishful thinking, but it would really improve the quality of the figure imo, because honestly, love the character and figure, but the rubber plastic and little things stop me from loving the figure, ya know?

Edit: Just saw the previous comments, so forget I said anything about replacing every rubber part. Still, a new head would be much appreciated :3

I just dug up my DW from storage. I don't think the rubber head is going to break very easily since it is well rubber. But what sort of new head design are you thinking of?

Silly question #1 @ Fakebusker83: these work with factory hands?

Silly question #2 @ Fakebusker83: what kinds of paint did you use for the weapon systems? Did you start with the gray or the white from Shapeways?

Yep! You can see how they work from the various photos on this thread.

My models were printed in White Strong Flexible. They can be painted with most brands of modeling paint but I specifically use lacquer.
I won't normally recommend Alumide for my models.

    Two more questions:

    (1) Do you have any figure pics with the Shrapnel Caster? Looking to start there for my AM-32 Wildrider to model off WFC Breakdown w/Scatter Blaster.

    (2) Have a Beast Hunters Voyager Prime, not thrilled with the firearms. Would your DREAD Suppressor Miniguns be a good substitution to look more show accurate - or just plain better? Another suggestion?

For pictures of my Shapeways weapon accessories, you can check out this thread: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/579265-weapons-secession-shapeways-gallery.html

The D.R.E.A.D suppressors might be a *little* too small for voyager BH Prime. You might want to check out LDM's Shapeways mini gun or the injection molded Zenith Forge product. I'm personally biased toward the latter (since I engineered it LOL) but feel free to take your pick.

Finally painted my Dreadwing cannon. I coat my WSF with some future first, primer second, base layer, detail colours and then another layer of future to protect them. The paint is still fragile but that's WSF for ya.

The top cannon is the 3rd party released cannon. It's slightly too big. I like the smaller bombs though, but it does not come with the big sword.

I used the upgrade hands too but I'm not leaving them on. I could not get the colour just right and the regular hands don't bother me that much. The print grain on the hands is too visible.

The bombs still need a coat of future to be finished.

Thanks for the pictures! He looks really nice!
I never knew how close the proportions are between my model and the third party offering. It's nice to see some comparison shots.

I'm glad my sword is a big selling point :)
