Hey gang, Red Wing Bot Creations back with another custom figure of mine. Today we have a custom painted RiD Rumble. I love this Rumble figure and it's one of my favorite from the RiD line but I just didn't like his lack of detail and his colors. I went to the store to look for paint and ran into Dupli-Color Perfect Match car paints. I thought this paint that I picked would be perfect and it turned out amazing. It's metallic paint also so it is nice and shiny like a car. Here's the pictures of the completed project: I added many details but my favorite is on the Pile drivers. I went off of what the image on the box showed and this is how they turned out Here are 2 before and after shots. I can't believe how much better he looks. I'll be doing more pictures later on Stay tuned as I'm getting ready to begin my custom RiD Frenzy!!
See, that's exactly what Hasbro should've gone. Blue and yellow with red trim is great looking. Teal and neon yellow with red trim looks awful. Bravo.
Isn't it funny how people complain about the stickers on the Takara figures but want them for Hasbro releases!? Anyways this looks great, really brings out the details!
As much as I like PRid Rumble the way he is, that color scheme makes him look a heck of a lot better. Really digging the way he looks in vehicle mode.
Im not one of the complainers,Id prefer to customize my own figures. But in Rumbles case I dig the reprolabels for him and Kup.
Awesome Paint Job! Question, if I don't want to call my guy Rumble or Frenzy, as he's not a mini-cassette, what decepticon do you think he most resembles
