DOTM Leader Shockwave-WIP

Another project i started on just recently, if you're wondering why i used ironhide as a base figure instead of the easier TFTM megatron, well its because i don't have one, and this IH has somewhat been laying around for some time, so i figured i make a shockwave out of him. Ambitious isn't it? Well, its a long shot, but i'll see where it goes..

Scratchbuilt the head and legs, here's how it looks so far:

Really like the headsculpt so far.

Two questions-
Will it transform (please say yes)?
Where did that little gold figure come from? I must have one...

Change of plans, will have to find another base fig since ironhide is way too stout.

thanks, i used the back of the ldr op as the base, then used thin pieces(about 1-2mm thin) of plastic for the details, the eye btw is a gem.. =)
