I love the concept and execution. I can't help but feel sorry for all the Trekkie civies though. They're all supposed to live in his shield.

A Borg Cube Transformer would be pretty sick.

empty with the upgraded shields focused around the saucer, the crew is beamed into his body, in safe spots, probably with extra allspark metal reinforcement and strong shields.

cool:thumb  all we need now, is for a manufacturer to bring this idea into fruition & start mass producing these(as well as other Trek ships) just like the Star Wars ones

I'm a big Star Trek fan, so I love the idea of a crossover with transforming starships. I think I might be a bit too attached to the sovvy to fully appreciate the changes to the underside of the saucer/deflector area though.

Not giving a negative review at all as I adore this, I just wonder if more of the original sleekness there could have been retained by changing to additional exterior additions instead much like the added impulse engines. (large phaser cannons on the undersides of the secondary hull and saucer for example)

A Borg ship would be a cool extension of this concept. A cube wouldn't even be required. There are Borg Spheres so Unicron conversions would definitely be possible. Man this concept is awesome.

Thanks guys! I'm so glad you guys seem to like the head and overall look.
Seriously, thanks so much for all the interest in the WIP and final custom. It really motivates me.
There just might be more to come.
Romulan Warbird is my 2nd favorite ship...

Like the story said, they all get transported to the main body before transformation.
But if it looks like a fight E can't win, the saucer section can transport all humans away to safety, leaving E to defend their escape.

I really love people who read. :)

One neat thing I was thinking as I made this is that it's cool how it worked out where the warp drive is in his chest, going by its placement in the ship mode. Its like his spark and the warp core are merged. Like the heart of the ship and robot.
