    Hey Fakebusker!

Long time fan of your awesome stuff! Like a bunch of other folks I'm sure, I was seriously contemplating the EEE hands for my titan Metro, they're pretty much perfect! Now tho that your thinking of a revised set just for Metro, I'd like to help a bit if I may?

So, just a quick set of measurements to give you a head-start on his huge mits:

Each finger is approx. .421" in dia. & the thumb is .4775" in dia. The Palm thickness widens from .532" @ the knuckles to approx. .731" @ the wrist.

I also had a thought for his hands in the form of some added articulation if you wind up making a new set & feel like more poseability. The "Hobby Base" super poseable hands have some kick-ass articulation points at the base of the knuckles that allows the fingers to move "sideways" along the forward edge of the palm! If your interested, I can get you some pics that show how this is done? just a thought , lemme know! :D

Either way, best of luck with the new hands & if you do make 'em, I'm def. down for a set!
    Cheers!
    ~Bk

I'd love some poseable hands too :O It's the only thing really keeping me from getting it (I know it's stupid but I find that to be a nitpick that makes me NOT want to spend 100 bucks)

From your measurements, Budokhan, it looks like the EEE's might actually be a bit smaller than Metroplex's Stock hands. The EEE's measure about 1.75" across at the primary Knuckle whereas the Stock Hands are about 2" across at the Primary Knuckle. Interesting, I never would've thought an official toy would have larger mitts than a Shapeways Product meant to be the largest possible hands for a Robot figure.

I agree wholeheartedly. I mean...the hands are not even hidden in his alt modes!

This is *almost* perfect! I'd prefer using metric units but this is very good for me to start with. Thanks!
I'm familiar with how those hobby base hands work, and I think at this scale, adding complex joints shouldn't be a problem :)

I know right? I myself wouldn't have expected it, I'd thought mine were bigger.
IT'S A COLD WAR for HANDS.

It's an arms race between Fakebuster83 and Hasbro! Or is it a hand race?

Would it be possible to just get a wrist joint that would work for the EEE hands on metro using the already designed EEE hands? The hands seem like they would fit perfectly with Gen Metro already. Me personally, if you keep the peg hole on the hands currently then Metro can hold more weapons then just the giant red gun he comes with.

    Take a look at Budhokahn's shot of Metroplex's Stock hands (Specifically, his rightt hand). Unlike many other Transformers figures, Metroplex's Wrists are two-part;
You've got the U-Shaped Cut for up/Down tilting (Metro's hands hinge on a pair of plastic nubs on the actual wrist Joint)
You've also got a grey piece that rotates but is otherwise not removable from the forearm. The best way to get the EEE's (as they're designed at the present moment) to be compatible with Metroplex's wrist hinge would be to excise a u-shaped chunk from where the adapter port is located and drill in two holes in the inside of that new gap for the hinge-nubs.

Once again the thread is brought back to life, how would these look on a Combiner Wars combiner?

I was wondering the same thing.

FB, any chance you'll make a wrist adapter compatible with Titan Devastator? Might make yours the fastest possible upgrade

Metroplex could really use those hands still. Only reason I haven't bought those hands yet is due to me being horrible at any kind of DIY or custom work.

Has anyone else thought about how this would look on CW Blackjack?
