but first of all let me say that I unfortunatly can't continue on the legs,
obviously for that I'll need a second set of legs (or worse a 2nd Galvy  )

Anyways.. I have extreme amount of motion/articulation in the arms/threads

(btw anyone who know a head look-a-like thats smaller then the toy and bigger than the megatron head? I don't really like scratchbuilding as u might have noticed hehe  )

UPDATE1:
Ok guess most is done now.. just need 2 get a led in the canon + head..
and obviously have a 2nd leg... I only need the outside parts of both the slide-piece of the legs and the lower legs rounded of parts (outer side again)

UPDATE2:
Extended the electrical system + made an extra super bright led, standalone electronics system for his arm attachment, Oh and also finished the 2nd hip... So only thing I can do is reconnect the head on a balljoint and wait 4 parts!

everything is done also the electrics in the eyes and head on balljoint etc, no compromise of alt-mode, until i get the extra parts 4 the leg, so i think i'm gonna lay low 4 awhile cuz there also so many games i need 2 finish   and obviously my lady back 4 the weekend   so take care guys, enjoy!

Couldn't wait, didn't know if there was any place the arm thingy stores in altmode officially, so I thought a viewfinder with flashlight might work hehe

Finally finally some1 sent me a nice pair of legs, so I could double up and recreate a second boot  
Just waiting until I order a reprolabel set and then I'm done with it...
(might redo the hips due to not very large range of posability btw)

Hi, Like where this is going. I got plans to do another Galvie eventually using this figure too so I'll follow this with interest and whilst seeking inspiration. Good start Sir

very cool man. a great update to a G1 figure. I'm sure people wish they had this when they were a kid than the stock figure. looking forward to completion.

Holy hell, man! As a huge Galvatron fan, I really like this. I never though I'd see the day when someone'd make an articulated MP Galvatron using the original figure. Awesome!

It looks great with the toy color scheme but I'd like to throw my vote in as well for a cartoon paintjob.

 

Looks pretty good. I'm thinking that torso with different arms, legs and head.

 

Major improvement here. You should break out the paints and give him a kick ass paint job.

 

Being a huge Galvatron fan (as witnessed by my 2+ year threads on my own WIP), I love this! Overall, I think everything about this is great. I do have a couple of areas that stick out as something that might be fixed somehow. Like the arms in alt mode--they kinda just stick out. If you could hide those a bit or use a different set of arms that can transform a little better, it would be great. Also, if you could rotate the legs so the feet point outward in alt mode, it would help the alt mode look a bit more like it the G1 animation & look a bit better.

As for the head, I'd say try the larger Energon Megatron head (I'm pretty sure the smaller voyager head is too small for this). Can't wait to see more on this! And I agree with others, paint it up!
