Got back home today and did some more work. Changed the look of the roof (didn't like the silver stripes on second thought), improved clearance in certain areas (mostly the upper legs), gave the gorilla chest a bit more bulk, fixed the neck plate (now longer + filled the gap underneath), improved the unit to which the doors are attached (before, they would detach very easily because they were only attached from the top, but now they're attached from both the top and the bottom - and properly hinged) and added hidden weapons in truck mode.

I had a way to transform the backpack more (mouth section would swing over the head), but then Hi-Q wouldn't be able to sit inside the truck because of roof clearance issues. So I'm leaving him like that for now.

I wasn't happy with the Optimus Minor-ish head (too slim), so I redesigned it (added a bit more bulk, changed the mouth by moving the lower jaw forward a bit) and changed the transformation a bit (ears are now... on the legs).

So, after a few modifications, I can indeed roll the cab into a cube, Powermaster Prime style. If it works, it's going to be one incredibly massive robot; in order to have good proportions, the combined robot mode will have to be well over a foot tall... yikes.

 

Did some preliminary work on the trailer last night and tonight to see how big it would need to be, and tried to design decently sized arms that could also tuck inside the torso in trailer mode. Not easy! The hand and head are from my other Prime custom, just placeholders.

This is awesome! it's like a cross between powermaster prime and optimus primal, like Powermaster Primal or Monkeymaster Prime! Are you planning on making a powermaster to go along with him?
