While I might have built solid rear shins, I honestly think TT handled the whole foot/shin transformation a lot better than me. I was too hung up on copying the G1 style, why Hasui (and team) just came up with a much more clever way of getting from point A to B. Having the shin be triangular shaped was genius, and saved the step of trying to figure out the rear window. Size is probably a factor too, 1/24 is significantly bigger than ~1/32.

That said, do still like my head sculpt tons better:)  And the arms(minus the shoulders). And the chrome bits.

Yep, there's just as much existing model kit parts in there as scratchbuild. The transformation is all scratch, but there's a significant amount of Gundam kit underneath there too. If you wanna see one that's even more of a scratchbuild, you should check out Skids

I thought for sure Michael Gay would've used this model from "The Marine." for T5. Oh, I forgot, He's too stupid. Now I have to make one.

Are you selling your 1:25 Prowl by any chance?

Are you thinking about making working electronics for the headlights, siren, and Police lights?

"The Scratchbuilder's Bible" indeed. I learned so much from your construction tutorial. You're a true artisan. I couldn't believe it when I read that you built this BEFORE the Masterpiece version!

Wow that is crazy! And inspiring!
It got me thinking....can you remove the vehicle shell from a current deluxe sized Prowl, find a smaller scale model car (1:30? 1:32?), and basically "reskin" a figure?

Looking at this again, it's really stunning work, much of it anticipating (and exceeding) the aesthetics of the MP version.

It's very sleek, and although I'm not 100% certain, it feels like the robot mode gains a lot more size relative to the vehicle mode, as compared to the Takara version. I know this is bigger to start with as a 1:24, but to see it shoot up larger than the Alternator version between modes is impressive. I kind of wish the MP cars were a bit taller in general, so that's another feather in your cap. :lol
