Another amazing Wikkid Masterpiece. Can't wait to see him painted. Dare I say it...yes, it's an absolute outrage that your customs aren't sold by a 3rd party company so we can all enjoy them.
Good lord this is awesome, true MP-design and aesthetics...the final paint-apps will surely secure this as a legendary build...
I'm really impressed by the simplicity of the transformation, and how he looks absolutely perfect in both robot and beast mode. This is a true work of art!
That is AMAZING. Top class in all respects. If I was to offer criticism, I agree that the beast head is marginally too big, or at least it appears that way. Maybe some other angles will clear that up. I also feel there's something off about his face, but i'm not sure what. I think it's the thickness of the 'helmet' which makes his face look small. Those are tiny nitpicks with such a great custom though, I would pay good money for one. Now, do justice to the quality of this piece, and get some gold chrome on there to match Grimlock. You can find companies that spray silver onto a figure to make it look like polished chrome, and that would be the icing on the cake!
I'll adress a few things with regard to choices I made during the process. Back when I did the Slag build, a member had suggested I go with a more real world design for the Triceratops head. (I can't say who it was as the thread seems to be missing from the boards) Anywho, his suggestion was to give Slag a beak-like design as the animal had when it existed. This got me to thinkin maybe I could incorporate a bit more true to life dino in my next Dinobot. The reference images shown here explain Swoops larger head and scrawny little beast body. Now, I'm not saying anyones wrong er nothin but these images were my source material to which I went to for reference. With regards to the head. I did have a larger scratchbuilt one that will be shown in a "How to" tutorial but found it to look odd next to Grimlock who himself has a little bean.

Hats off to you again. This is an awesome build and maybe your best to date. Please tell me SR is painting him. Great use of parts and by far the beat swoop using the seeker mould by far. I love the size of the wings looks like he could eat the decepticons all Day long. One day I hope to be as good as you.

Swoop looks sweet man. Great middle ground between G1 design and more realisticly proportioned Ptera mode.
Absolutely beautiful work, the colors are spot on to the cartoon and the bright palette is eye popping!
Well.... looks like I just can't get around to finishing this so I just did a photoshoot and will be selling it off for $100 to anyone who wants to complete it. I'll even include the unfinished Snarl and a bunch of styrene and parts.
Looks awesome, its like a hybrid of FT and Bullsfires......... but it looks 100 times better than bullsfires.
