Well this was a simple 2hr job when I was bored... I have been thinking this so long but couldn't find a decent way without parts-forming, most of the time I hate this but there is just so little room for a articulated sliding mechanism, which still looks beefy when finished So when I just decided what I've been a couple time before, modding the extra parts but keep the G1 completely unharmed, meaning with a original joint removed making place 4 the Lego joint so some might consider this 2b an actionmaster, but It still transform... it just unfortunately cheat a fair bir But who know in the near future I will try 2 working a solution! BTW i still plan on electrics, which plays a upbeat music & has a flashing light UPDATE1: changed the shoulders and hips, will start on electrics soon.. UPDATE2: Well I almost completely finished and was ready 2 put in the electrics, but suddenly the speaker stopped working and I can't remember where I got it out of originally well guess I'll just leave it like this 4 a while cuz I'll b attending a meeting this 20th and will bring it among others!
I heartily encourage the addition of electronics. This guy was literally designed to be a working radio (well, a speaker system anyway) after all! he jointing looks great, very dynamic pose. D/L
thnx when I work on the electrics I'll make better pics 2! Yeah it now looks 2 small & ugly... any1 who can thing of a tip? LOL.. hope 2 make more/better pics when I return 2 this 1 i promise!
I just might do that... lost a bit of intrest, so awaiting 2 revisit! hehe LOL u think? Maybe my GF recharges my batteries
Yeah y not... But if it does turn out 2 complicated Which head would come close? Any1 got any ideas?? Thnx
If you can find any Alternator head with a clean face, that would be a good start. By cutting away all distinguishing features around it and then building everything with styrene, you can probably get a pretty good Blaster head. Of course, it will take some extra work to make it fold away.
well i might sumday i'll let it rest 4 now UPDATE2: Well I almost completely finished and was ready 2 put in the electrics, but suddenly the speaker stopped working and I can't remember where I got it out of originally well guess I'll just leave it like this 4 a while cuz I'll b attending a meeting this 20th and will bring it among others!
well like I said it's a partsformer so on the knees and elbows unfortunatly I have 2 screw open the cover and remove atleast one of the 2 halves... I haven't made pics kinda forgot lol guess lets see if I can manage b4 the 20th otherwise I'll do it after the meeting, no worries it will come
If you ever want to do a version two I think I figured something out last night that will be mutually beneficial and no parts forming
