    Thanks for the bump ;)

    Anyway, wow!...lot of nice updates!

I was looking at the wing extensions again...I think it might look best if you 45 all the square edges (aside from the already angled side)...it would probably blend more with the soft edges of the existing parts...

And I'm with daimchoc on adding to the sides of the thigh extenders if possible, and even up to the crotch flaps...though I'm not sure if you already had some first drafts and this looked best...overall though, the added width looks bada$$!

Also loving the crane relocator...if it was molded in the right green, it'd be really cool...speaking of crane relocator, I've been thinking about a new base piece...the little piece that the whole crane spins on that plugs into Crank...if it had a new base with the peg relocated, the crane could be repositioned a bit so it wouldn't block Hercs head on the left so much...it would move the crane back further but still retain the classic location...though it might through off Hercs balance...

Wouldn't the 45 on the other end cause a dip?

No no no...not that much...just a hint, like the top left edge of the extender on the left...just enough to match the rounded edges of the existing wing parts

Thanks for the feedback guys...can you do a quick sketch or edit to my image?

I'll do an alternate of the thighs better considering the side view...VERY good point there guys...

Any ideas for alternate uses? I could see the crane support as a sheild...is that what you mean? Maybe I'll put a few 5mm peg holes in the parts...I LOVE how TFC does that...makes the parts so much fun to play around with...

The crane support can definitely be used as a shield... just add ports and you can plug in the shield extensions too.

I like what you got going on here. Keep up the good work. Also if nobody had done it yet what about making the chest/ribs extenders pieces? I see some are using thier cabs from ex and blender to fill out that area a little more. Tryed to mock up the shape above and one of those on each side of devy would make him look even cooler with ur upgrades I think, and would give his torso more of a "V" shape as opposed to his "T" shape now. Maybe throw a little detailing in there too. IT would require 5mm pegs to connect to heavylabor I assume? Hope any of this makes sense, and again keep up the good work!

Edit so apperently my "image" above wont stay in the shape I want to show you when i post it.:banghead:

Thazzok Furyan, I'm pretty sure I know what you mean. Good suggestion as I've also seen the little bits under there that could be clearner and more intentional with designed parts.

I do; however, want to see the proportions of Herc with the arms moved in and the bulkier thighs...from GI Eddie's pics, those extra bits may not be as necessary with the new arm placement, or in the very least can be more subtle as there's much less gap.

    BTW, here are my plans:

    1. Get prototypes of these on order
    2. Evaluate mechanical issues, post pictures of actual figure
    3. Consider offering as Shapeways kit
    4. If demand goes nuts, consider making a public kit...

BUT I've never done this before and need help. I'd really prefer to injection mold it to get costs even remotely reasonable, but that's a HUGE project money-wise, all parts would need redesign for parting lines and draft angles AND I'd need some kind of company to support it...the other option is maybe cast a few of the parts to get accurate color, and in that I'll approach someone with good casting experience as I have very little (no bubbles, good color).

I'll keep you posted guys...and thanks to all who've sent me contacts and some tips for getting this going...always welcome.

Your best option would be Shapeways. If you want to go the injection way, then you might want to pair up with someone like Dr. Wu, or a TFW member that can do casts.

more subtle is a good idea...maybe an angled design that would accentuate the traditional V shape of a torso...

As for wanting them to be injection molded...I really like that idea...it would look the cleanest which is probably why you prefer that method...but like daim said, you might have to go with a more established customizer...

Yeah, my guess is that Injection moulding would be around $50,000 in tooling with manual pickouts, probably aluminum which would provide about 10,000 quality parts before heading south. I would make a purple tree and a green tree...or maybe one part tree and shoot green AND purple parts...either way does anyone have $50K handy? lolzzz

Did a bunch of updates guys...wanting to keep the momentum here. I hope to place the order at Shapeways before the end of the week. I really like all the suggestions and have incorporated most of them...
