Parts-former. :(  But you can attach to the stock. Unfortunately I'm running multiple threads...oh well...here's a link: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/688519-echotransformers-hegemon-3pp-megatron-upgrades.html

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

Yes, I'm trying to move my parts to polished...I much prefer the quality too. I redesigned the pegs to help accomodate the range in tolerances...plus Eddie is helping test the Herc parts in polished for me so we'll probably hear more about that soon.

Now that Hegemon is done and available, I'll be back on Herc in the next day or two. Lots of parts left to design!!!

Hi, this is my version, I painted the thighs in black instead of silver. What do you think?

I think I like the silver better, but the black looks pretty good too.

Wow, thanks for sharing. I really like those rifle parts for the wing extensions! And I noticed you painted the little pipe detail on the elbow clip.

You did a great job finishing too...how was your Shapeways experience, BTW?

    Thank you,
my experience was good as soon as the parts are very detailed (thanks for that) but as for the finish of the parts is too sandy and had to grind several times with the risk of losing detail in parts and make that may be something loose.
The connection of the part to put the crane back was a little loose on mine also. I guess that with the polished parts will be better.

By the way, how the design of the new parts will? I want to order the parts that you have done to Hegemon and wanted to wait for the new of Hercules to save on shipping.A greeting and thanks for your designs.

    ^^ Thanks for the information.

To all: I spent the evening updating the parts on Shapeways.

    1. I've added 'crush ribs' to the crane mount for all kits
    2. I've added a 5mm peg hole to the top of the crane mount to all kits
    3. I've added a groove on the wing extensions for better fit on all kits
    4. I've added polished option for all kits except those with thighs (fit still to be confirmed)

So no new parts tonight, but if anyone should order in the meantime rest assured they are the latest design.

As for "Kit 2.0", I still need to finish design of the remaining parts and still order test parts before it will be released. At this point, my expected release date is end of November. I'll do my best to finish sooner, but I'd rather 'underpromise, overdeliver". ;)

You should put a link to your shapeways store in your signature. Then I won't have to go to the first page of this thread every time I need to get there.
    plus, more advertising.

Well, I did too. But it will still be slightly easier to click on a link after reading a post of his than to use a bookmark.
    Also, more advertising for him.

I thought this would be easy, but helixes are not fun. Any way, here's the drill bit a few people have asked about. It splits in half and fits in the large pegs.

Herc really needs to get rid of that custom devastator lankiness.

Maybe something to widen the torso a tad?

Viewed from the front in a static pose is THE MOST unflattering way to view Herc...HLs under scaled size really stands out...

I completely agree. With the added width of the treads in the G1 configuration widening the torso, particularly the groin, seems to be needed.
