TMNT 2012: Chained Weapons

I've meaning to finish this but wwoptimusprime beat me to it. I'm really digging these figures so I'm looking forward to doing some more mods and/or paint jobs on them.

I had trouble trying to find small eye screws so instead I used eye pins. For Mikey's chuck, I used black chains and metal finish for Don's weapons.

That is awesome! I am slowly falling for these new turtles, and you have vastly improved an already sweet design. Kudos to you sir!

Thanks.
I did have some issues using the hand driller, since i'm using a very thin drill bit, i broke off a drill bit in one of the plastic pieces. Luckily I was able to work around it.

I wish i could have found the eye screws, but if you use the eye pins, push in the pin little by little (with pliers), instead of holding the top eye area with the pliers and push in. It will bend easily and scratch up the pin.

I also plan on doing some painting to the weapons soon.

DYE!!!
WHY CAN"T YOU JUST DYE!!!

Look up a tutorial on YouTube.
I'm feeling too lazy to explain right now.

Non fade, scratch proof, and something such as those, warping doesn't really matter.

Excellent suggestion.

BUT. Warping DOES matter. Granted, the weapon handles are somewhat thick, but even they could warp without the proper care. And if it can happen to the handles, imagine what it could do to something thinner like Leo's blades.
I could be selling stuff to YOU!
TFs, Figuarts, LEGO, Marvel and more!
