Didn't work, and I didn't like it. This time, I used a junker Chewbacca for the hips and thighs, grinding away enough to use the original Armada Meg's knee connection point. I did a little L-shape grinding to give it a better surface for gluing, and it seems to have worked. As you can see, articulation is great in robot mode, but it looks like I'm going to have to grind down his squarish hips if I want to get the tank mode right... I'm a little hesitant to do this though, as I'm not 100% sure it will look better... opinions? Still a WIP... thanks for looking EDIT: I found a workaround by mis-transforming him... if I don't swivel the hips and just pivot at the thighs I can get this acceptable configuration: Now to paint, and maybe get him some head claws... -GusBTW, I too removed his horns, they look ridiculous. My BST thread: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/items-...le-thread.html |

Alliteration! ![]() My Megs was a junker too... in fact, I've NEVER had one that came with horns, as I got all mine from ebay. Quote:
anyway. Good luck w/ yours! I'm halfway on the horns... I have a lot of Megatrons already w/o, and I might be able to make some substitute ones. Quote:
but they seemed too thin and gangly. At least I kept Chewie's below-the-knee-swivels in. Gold-Plastic-Syndrome? Must be why I keep breaking mine at the arms. Hope the legs hold up at least. Anyway to help prevent breakage? Thanks for the tips and comments! My Feedback | |||
