Final update: One last little tweak. I shaved the head crest down just a little so the jet nose (multiple other alt functions too) can snap into place better.
First picture shows the minor difference.
Also, YAY to all 6 modes and back with no paint scratches. Custom BW sixshot mission complete.

First Update: All 6 modes pictured, including the questionable hydrofoil boat mode which was sadly just better than the elephant, bat, or weird flying hand modes...

Another something I did out of sad sad boredom.
Colors are very similar to G1 sixshot but with the addition of gold and more silver in the scheme. I decided I like the simple factory look, but I may go back and add ink washes and highlights at some point.

    Predacon Commander Sixshot
Following the Maximal Depthcharge in hopes of finding the Axilon crash site and the missing Predacon spy, Ravage, Sixshot found himself pulled into a wormhole and hit by a strange energy wave. The alien power caused him to black out, his stealth jet mode losing its cloak field and crashing to the planet below.
When he awoke, Sixshot had a new transmetal body and each of his 6 forms had a mix of his cybertonian modes and new beastly parts, including wings!
Like his Decepticon namesake, Predacon Sixshot was able to almost immediately master each of his new and powerful modes, switching from one to another as the situation requires to be an incredibly versatile and deadly threat to Optimus Primal and the Maximals.

I think you should complete the paint work. The factory and paint looks are kind of jarring.

The concept works for Sixshot and using RID Megatron mold as the base for Sixshot....its very clever. So yeah I like it.

Thanks guys. I might just add a bit more detail to the inner wings and stick a fork in er.

Well since he has 6 modes (technically 10 even) I came up with a color scheme that would work along with some of the existing colors so that very few joints and parts that rub are painted. That way I can transform it 55billion times over the next years without worries of eventual chipping. The elbows, knees, much of the wings, and ankles are unpainted for example. Maybe some extra details on the wings and ink washes in a few places might bring it together more?

No, I am sticking to 6 of the modes the figure already has since this isn't the G1 character. I am trying to use ones that are closest to what G1 Sixshot had though. He will definitely have Jet, car, robot (obviously), 2 headed dragon, and griffin modes. Maybe hydrofoil boat for the last one.

I can definitely dig this color scheme. At first I was going to suggest taking some translucent mint green to the gold spots, but a big thing about the Transmetal characters are that they have bits of chrome that is a different color from the colorscheme as a whole. A lavish tick for tack repaint into G1 Sixshot would betray the very concept of Transmetals to begin with. So yeah, I say toss this guy some protective coats, you've nailed it.

Mind-blowing idea. Needs a little more paint work, but definitely a good start there. I vote for hand mode replacing gun mode. It makes about as much sense and is even more badass. :D

I guess its really a matter of opinion there. I added several extra details and I feel like he is good to go now. Gunna clear coat him and get some new pics up soon.
The head came from a ko optimus prime but I modified it quite a bit to look more like G1 Sixshot but he is not supposed to be G1 Sixshot you know this is just another new BW Transmetal I made up but I did try to make his look a throwback to the G1 character and yes his weapon splits into 2 things that are supposed to pass for swords guns afterburners tusks and more. :)

    I was responding to this:

I thought you were leaving it open to suggestion. I think the only spot where it's kind of jarring is in the wings. A wash will probably make some of those details pop while blending in with the rest.

    Wow, you work fast.
    Great work.
I think an ink wash would really make him pop! :)

I don't know. It was sent by a commission customer for parts about 2 years ago. I never knew specifically what the KO was called. Just looked like a crappy Optimus toy.

Yep I know what you meant, and yes I was asking for suggestions. I'm just saying some seem to prefer the clean look while others say washes and highlights, so I went with just adding more details... For now anyway.
I still haven't been to sleep so I'm probably typing confusing nonsense.
Your suggestions as well as those of others have been very helpful!
