Nice. I always thought the Megatron resemblance on this guy was pretty unmistakable, like he might have been based on an early draft concept design for Bay Megs. If only they had this guy in a larger size, I would have been all over it for a Megs custom like this one.

I agree a bit with the earlier comment, that maybe a turret gun that looks a little less like the G1 bazooka might have been a better choice overall, but he still looks great.

I actually made him 4 arm cannons/turrets. One from a millenium falcon crossovers gun, one from a highly modified TFP voyager Megatron arm cannon, one from a minigun from hobylinkjapan, and one from ... I think DOTM jolt?- A Mechtech gun that was somewhat megatron-ish when extended.
I even had 2 others set aside I was thinking of modding to fit- another smaller HLJ gun and a WFC Megatron arm cannon. In the end none of them looked good to me so I made this one. Shame it still ended up being the least approved of part of him...

It's really not that bad. It has a simple, G1-ish look to it. The problem is that it doesn't really match style with the rest of the figure. Some G1-style could be sacrificed for the sake of having a bazooka that merges with the alt-mode better, or has more surface detailing. That's all.

Just an idea, but have you loked at using the fusion cannon from an Energon Battle Ravage figure. It looks good on this figure

Awesome work on this! Love it ^^I think the WFC Megatron head may also have worked on this.
