The walking feature and all of the leg/arm gears have been gutted (lights still work). Optimal Optimus shoulders connect the legs, balljoints for the arms, etc... The body has been fused together to support weight instead of disassembling. The towers/guns are 2/3 - 1/2 of the Autobot Arc playset. Brunt is made out of the guns from the TFP Driller, the Arc cockpit, and Bludgeon treads. The main tank forms a tower for base mode, as do each of the cannons. The Treads attach to the front as a decoration/support for the tail cannon. Brunt's parts attach to each other and to Trypticon via balljoints. The use of Gojulas Giga was inspired by Chibbywave's custom Trypticon - but I wanted to do something different for the base mode. The base mode theme was something I've been wanting to do for a while - integrating Cyberverse playsets. It has a few towers, a helipad, two ramps that connect via hidden lego bits, and the DoTM space bridge. The tail that sticks out the front resembles a cannon on the tip (hard to see in the photos). I want to put colored foil or something under the tail holes to give the impression of a charging cannon. Hope to fine tune and sand it so that I can start painting it this weekend. This will likely take as long as Omega or longer - with the amount of details. ORIGINAL PICS ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() BASE COAT ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I had to take pics in the dark. The flash and other lights were reflecting off of the tower/cannon assembly. I'll have better pics when it's done and out of my basement workshop. Example ![]() |

How about you can use that idea sometime, eh? I'd love to see that. But anyway, that's amazing. I saw pieces of the Ark and immediately knew this was the start of an amazing Trypticon. |
