I would never have thought of updating his G1 racing stuff in this way, but it looks great!

Thank you. He is mine too! :D

It started out in color, but then I decided I didn't want to paint him white. This was the solution for that decision. Tried both black and white, but black looked much slicker.

You need to sell this sheet to reprolabels stat! I think you could make more than a few pounds by doing so, plus those of us who want it (me very badly) we can get is a lot easier! Thanks for the awesome pictures though!

Hehe, you think so? ^___^ but it's okay, I made this solely for myself and then decided to share it. As a way of giving back to the community. I'm not ready to make my hobby profitable just yet. I'm sure there are printing-companies everywhere.

Also, if you do, you still have to cut them to fit, because I designed them on gut-instinct and hoped for the best ohoho

I brought your sheet up to two different printing companies, but they wanted about 40 USD to do a single sheet. I was not happy about that at all, but I might have another avenue on the horizon.

You're shitting me! I paid like 15 euros, which can't be more than 12 USD!
That's so expensive o_O  ...the printing company I took it too also prints greeting cards and all that stuff....if your companies are similar, they're hella expensive >___<

Your 15 EU is more like 21 USD right now. I can wait. I would like to submit it to reprolabels for you though. Obviously with your permission.

It would need editing and cutting, most likely, but if you would want to, I'm curious as to what they would think. But don't only print them massively when there's enough demand?

They do need a demand, that is true, but since you have done the bulk of the work it should be easier to get produced. Plus people will want this set if was available.

If you own a color inkjet printer, you can try printing these as water slide decals on the Testors clear or white decal paper.

    Testors » Testors » Modeling Tools & Accessories » Decals » Decal Paper - Clear & White

You also need a small spray can of decal bonder. (Don't you dare try to print a decal without this stuff.. the ink will fall right off the decal.. trust me, I learned the hard way.)

Testors » Accessories » Decals » Decal Bonder

I do the Transformers logos for my customs using those products. Works great.

Another option would be clear mailing labels. After printing them you need to seal them by spraying a layer of clear coat paint on them to water seal them so the ink never runs. I've made many decals for various things over the years that way.
