Humvee Megatron --- take that, Hegemon!

I too have been wowed by the Hegemon product... I just wish I could really afford it!

Until then, I settled for redoing my "Dawn of War" Megatron, giving him a cleaner paint job and smaller, more subtle Decepticon symbol. Also changed out his fusion cannon for a longer one, using some GI Joe spring loaded accessory parts.

I really like this. The head detailing could be a little cleaner, but the vision and overall paint strategy are fantastic.
My Feedback - Minus a few I forgot to solicit.

Those who can't, dont. Those who can, Radicon. Excellent work, and use of the crossover mold!

I still have an untouched Ironman hummer and a couple of Megatron heads laying around, might give this a whirl... That Prime looks to use the Grapple/Inferno mold to me. Great job on both bots!

Prime is a custom made from a Solar Storm Grappel. I did it awhile
back and recently put a Kreo Prime head on him.

Thanks! The head came from Energon Stormjet... it fit the space I had, and didn't feel like tearing up my classics Megs to get a head. I see what you mean but I think it works, as it's squarish like his alt mode.

No, the cannon is a spring-loaded weapon from a GI Joe Rise of Cobra figure
(with a little added length from a 2nd spring loaded weapon). Heavy Duty, I think.

This mold (Crossovers Iron Man Humvee) did come with a fairly sweet gun but it didn't scream "fusion cannon to me" so I ditched it and used it on another project.
