classics rollout and glitch

bio from tfwiki=

Rollout is an Autobot Action Master from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Bomb. James Bomb.

Spies generally come in one of two flavors: suave and sophisticated, moving through high-class circles with grace and ease, or quiet and unobtrusive, fading into the background unnoticed and doing their work in utter secrecy.
Rollout is a different flavor altogether: loud, brash, impulsive, violent and overall leaving one wondering just how in the hell he actually gets any of his objectives accomplished. His behavior is better-suited to front-line brawlers and heavy artillery units, especially his penchant for finding bigger, louder, and more devastating weaponry to try out. Send him to steal a file and he's likely to detonate the entire building it was stored in. When he's off-duty, he's constantly letting everyone know that he's seriously on some high-stakes top-secret mission that he totally can't give you any details about, but believe him, it's big important stuff! But somehow... the job he was sent to do gets done, to the bafflement of just about everyone who's ever met him.
He probably would have been fine metal shavings centuries ago, or at least severely demoted, if it weren't for the efforts of his "partner" Glitch. Few realize that the tiny bot they consider a remote-controlled battle drone is actually working fervently behind the scenes (typically scenes of carnage and destruction that Rollout is smack in the middle of), stealing data, eliminating problems and—most importantly—covering up for Rollout's many, many mistakes.
Of course, Rollout keeps getting the credit for all this. Whether he's even cognizant of Glitch's role in their job is unknown, as is how Glitch himself feels about the arrangement.

recently, after witnessing some of his former "actionmaster" mates reformat themselves back to being able to actually transform, rollout felt left out.he chose his new form to be a armored up 6 wheeled all terrain carrier, complete with an armory load of experimental weaponry.

sacrificed=
lower front skid plate/torso half from a marvel xover captain america, which was then reshaped with styrene and weight was added to it with ot glue and screws.
to make it clip onto the stockgrapple back, the insides of it was torched, melted, then jammed onto it,resulting in a fairly good clip action.it mounts to him in alt mode on his roof top with magnets.
a g1 hoist head was literally bisected, ground, cut and sanded down, just for the ears and mouth plate sides.
the stock grapple head was severely ground down for clearance too.the new head has to be turned sideways in order for transformation.
his hands/forearm halves were swapped left to right, mostly because this was the grapple mold with the funny hands and not a standard bot hand with a gun post hole.
a new hole was drilled to hold guns just on top of his hands.
his alt mode side mirrors were removed, making way for both clearance for his arm panels which fold like origami, and to be able to add armor to his cab windows.
the armor is all styrene.
carbon fiber vinyl was hand cut all over his alt mode to try to help break up his orange over load in alt mode.
4 extra wheels taken from a tftm07 bonecrusher were fused to his rears, trying to simulate his g1 bot mode legs.
a bfg from a dotm voyager prime(first version)had it's pop up radar chunks removed,a lego bit added to be able to combine with glitch and it's tip was cored a bit to accomodate glitches antenna which is actually another rifle.
glitch is comprised of a mangled wfc prime torso/guts,dotm legends bb's 6 wheeled carrier cannons, and some odds and sods from the bits bin.
his alt mode head lights were changed up a bit too.
rotf sideswipe's exhaust casings were addd to his alt mode roof top as cannons, along with a single cannon on the other side.
some bits were added to his alt mode cab roof, resulting in a more g1-ish shoulder area in bot mode.
his toes and lower legs were also filled with hot glue and screws, resulting in a miin mp prime fell to his weight and balance.

no more talkie,pics..

wip pics

what's left of g1 hoist's head.

some weight gain going on....

his chest chunk/sleeper extension.

just before first coat.....

unfortunately, because of alot of the mods done,it would have been near impossible to completely dissassemble him,so he was coated in his main coor first by spray, then everything else was hand painted with a brush or is hand cut vinyl.

Great idea! Love the fact that its not a main stream character and the build its self was pretty well thought out to

LOVE Glitch, and the 'bot mode for Rollout too. Always saw him as a digger type thing, but a really nice custom man. I'm in the middle of doing Jackpot and Rad, but Rollout is on my to-do list...

Holy crap!!! That is an amazing custom, I dig it. Now I'm curious what stuff was used to make Glitch?

What did you use to make the chest plate? I'm working on a pyro using the same reverse transformation and am running into problems getting it to look beefy enough.
