Actually it the body and head will get smaller as it gets to the top, so the legs will look slightly exaggerated, which is what I'm shooting for. That will also help with overall balance and stability, and I also aim to keep it as accurate to the art as I can as well...

Thanks Wikkid, I really wanted to keep that detail in there just like the comic, it really gives it depth great detail being he's a basic G1 format, which doesn't have much detail other than a lot of panel-lining, but I may even add some of my own little jiblets of detail as I go along without going overboard with it, but you know how that goes!

I agree man, what's hard about these big guys is, they look so impressive in person when they're finally done, I don't wanna part with them.

Besides the eye, nope. This beast has already unexpectedly gone over budget with size, so I'm trying to keep it simple but true to the comic. GOT to have the light-up eye though, but would like to figure out something nice for the chest too though....

All I can say is you're mental. In a good way, I guess, but still mental. I can't wait to see it finished, one thing I wish you could do would be a light up nozzle hand.

Great work, you def. need to put a how to so i can hide in my garage more... he he this way the wife can't complain about me messing up the house cus i attempting to make some gaint bot lol. i would like to take tips from your project cus adventually i want to do a Spotlight Blurr in the prone with a sniper rifle... but that dream of mine i get to someday. Having a 3yold makes having free time...um...limited. But your doing great man, really can't wait to see how the rest of him turns out.

That is a CRAZY build, LOVE IT!

I know the feeling man, I have a part-time job & rentals so I'm pressed for time every day. It's really hard to describe how to build something like this, but it's basically a shitload of measuring and stepping back constantly to make sure everything stays in proportion. It's easy to lose scale and perspective of things when you're doing something this big because while you're working on it, you're always right up on it. There's certainly a lot of trial and error, because of unforeseen issues like balance, stability & rigidity, so I don't do much planning ahead....I just build and adapt as I go. Thanks for checking out the pics, hopefully more to come very soon!

Quite a few people could vouch for that, lol When all is said and done, I just might do something after all with the gun-barrel. The eye will light up, and I don't plan to do anything with the chest, but the gun barrel would be the thing I think will make this really pop...
