    Really 80 stickers? O_O

That's....really? There are that many little details? And more on Ratchet?

I don't think it'll be that much more than most sets. The actual amount of material used is only slightly more. But don't hold me to that!

I had the same thought (having already painted the rims on two separate KO's was hoping there'd be something for those who can't/won't do this), but like was said it would be very difficult to apply stickers there and most likely would look like shit.

Watched the videos (thanks for that), but I've gotta say I wasn't uber impressed with the final look mostly in bot mode. I think the strength of this set is what it does to the look of the vehicle. That mode looks fantastic- blacked out windows, ground effects, head/tail lights, etc., but bot mode (and granted I'm sure this is just me) doesn't hold a candle. That being said, the effort made to get the set to match the toon is awesome and I will certainly be in line to purchase one.

He is still slightly mis-transformed in the bot mode pics. The chest piece isn't fully transformed. I think if that is done and you can manage to do the black and gold detailing that Cheetimus did on the inside of the shoulder pads it will go a long way in improving the look of the bot mode.

If I didn't have my awesome Cheetimus custom, I'd definitely be getting this set. Great job!

That set looks really great. It makes a big difference in Knockout. I'll be picking up a set or 2.

It's certainly not for lack of inside shoulder pad detailing. It's the white stickers on the thighs, feet, and even the face that- although perhaps show accurate- don't work as well on the toy.

I like to believe that Hasbro actually thought out the paint scheme pretty thoroughly, even given the limited palette they were allowed. Look at the complete lack of paint apps on the Takara version to see how much further wrong they could have gone! Nope, I think less is more in bot mode and the preponderance of swaths of white stickers just don't help IMHO.

I certainly put most of my effort into the vehicle mode. But, some people are sticklers for toon accuracy, so I did what I could for bot mode.

I like most of them. I'll buy one.

Any idea when the'll be up for order?

PS: I would like red shoulder pieces, too... Hubcaps are out of the question, right?

Correct. Not enough real estate for anything to stick.

Don't get me wrong I am thankful this set will exist!! And praises be to the work you've put in. Truthfully I mean that. Sorry if my criticism seemed a bit harsh. I just wanted to make a point about the way bot mode looks with the stickers vs without, but the end look is through no fault of yours. You simply mimicked the toon.
