Can you post size comparisons with other figures just for the awesomeness?
I will try, got a lot going on right now, this is the first time I am even able to get to this thread since the last time I posted, but I will try...

In the shin, or lower leg? I went off the concept art, I am actually a fan of the clutter and detail down there.

heh, thanks. those are actually "branded" on there, like I rancher brands his cattle. Thanks to Z for that idea....found a guy who makes custom branding irons on shapeways.

I think the white does make the figure pop out more, especially it has a relatively muted colour palette. However, I think if you put the lights out on one or two of the pictures to show the eyes' brightness it would've show how bright they were.
thanks.

I like the white background. I find that it works great for larger figures like this, but its not as flattering to deluxe or smaller figures in my experiences.
Then again any size figure painted by you would probably look great with a white background, especially since you have a degree in graphic art and can clean up the photos to look really professional on any background type.
All I know how to do is slightly raise the brightness so I often just take pics outside lately.
thanks.

thanks. I had both heads available, and thought the TFTM one spot on.

that's what you're seeing. I use a light tent with crappy light set up. The only alterations I do to my photos is center the custom, crop, auto-color (so it's accurate to the actual hues/colors, and remove shadows/crap behind it. If I altered my commissions, I would have issues with the buyers of the customs.

I really love this megatron, do you allow me to take some ideas for my own version?

My favevorite part are the lower legs, so awesome detail, the upper legs seem a bit too bulky, but I think it's caused by the perspective of he pics.

The igor you're thinking about was made by jin saotome and only a day or two later I posted mine, both were based on long hauls head too, I really love josh nizzis idea of there use of "older" bots for new guys, perfect recycling :-)

Is the shotgun the one Ariel (fakebusker) made for us? And could you give me a hint how I can built the alien left hand? It's one of my major problems, and cyberspawn is freakin expensive....
Best regards

Chris

This looks absolutely amazing. I would kill for your abilities. You got the bulkiness of him just right. And I love the paintjob!

The only thing that bugs me is the head, and that's not your fault at all. It just seems like neither of the Leader heads made are that accurate, and there's always something off about them. I've only ever seen one custom of this guy that fixed that, and I can't remember for the life of me what he did to fix it...but you definitely made the right choice going with the head from the first movie.

I'd love to see comparison shots with Leader Optimus.
