So I decided to take up this challenge and revive it into a better form .Inorder not to destroy its transformation ability I have tried to minimize the bashes on both figure . My mean focus is to bulk up the powerup prime legs area which the original figure did not add on to the essential features . So my journey begins in searching for its leg gaurds .I did several attempt and finally came to a conclusion which I found the best suitable material to cover its legs with a modified leg guards and of cause a pair of customize feet which is a must to this figure .Lucky that I still maintain its transformable ability which is my first intention in this figure . After the bashes I dismantle both optimus prime and jetfire parts by parts and clean them up with warm soapy water to clear off all the dirts and than I applied very high quality durable primer for the first layer ,I use very good quality lacquer paint for the airbrush to produce very thin smooth effect on the surface . Took me quite awhile to complete the airbrush process but overall its worth the time after looking at the figure . Here is the combine form POWERUP PRIME Here are some use link Facebook :http://www.facebook.com/#!/media/set...3988318&type=1 flickr :Powerup Prime - a set on Flickr ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
