Transformers Prime Barricade

Let's get this out of the way first: this concept was shamelessly stolen from deliciouspeter's original custom. Seriously give this guy all the credit for coming up with this one. This is just my take on it.

He's still a Vehicon Commander, and I tried to take the character into a more Vehicon realm with more purples and silver. I also tried to match the existing character art for Prime/Universe Barricade from the Jagex Transformers Universe MMO.

I'm quite happy with how he turned out. He's got one of the better paint jobs I've done yet. I also made some tweaks like carving the original hands into claws.

I really didn't document the process of building this guy, and it's a long story, but this is actually the second Prime Barricade I've done. It varies quite a lot from the one I made for a friend. With this being my third custom of FE Bumblebee, I won't be making anymore.

Some of the photos show off his rival: Copperhead, which is another custom based on an earlier project where I made 10 legion customs.

If I have time I might make a blog entry about this guy, but for now here are some pictures. Enjoy.

That is beautiful! The purple shade you used if very striking next to the black and makes for a visually appealing piece as well as a great character representation.
