Amazing. Its perfect really. Captures not only a G1 aesthetic but also the cartoon aesthetic as well. A toy company would be hard pressed to make anything better.
thanks man. I was actually on the fence on the cannon. I've never airbrushed metallics before, so that was really cool to try. The overall look eventually grew on me, so I kept those colors. thanks alloy always good to hear your thoughts man, so I'm stoked you like him. thanks a lot for the comments guys haha, he does look a bit beefed up. Thanks E!
thanks Mack that's a big compliment, I appreciate it man thanks. First time I've sculpted a head, or the helmet anyways. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, thanks man, glad you approve. that's a hell of a comment man, thanks. but i disagree, you MUST make an MP galvy. I know you'll knock him out of the park. thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated
theres lots of things about this one that i like better than your last one, like the cannon, everything looks great, but the head you used on your last one i think was better. Regardless, this is better than any galvatron i could make so what do i know lol
Thanks bro! Thanks man. i have a feeling an official release is in the near future, which I'm sure will be amazing. I wish I did. I made a very similar version a while back which was in near perfect scale with Prime. So this version should be as well. Thanks Anty, i know you love some Galvatron! Thanks guys, glad you all like him

Holy Crap! That's nicely done, bud! My ONLY critique... something I just noticed after staring at it for a while, is that I think his helmet crest is a bit "soft" in relation to the intense, crisp detail everywhere else on the body. It seems just a bit too hand-made, so to speak. At this scale, I think it could use a few more hard edges. It feels like the only off part, but it's right there on his head... so once I see it, I can't unsee it. But overall... I think that you've just created the DEFINITIVE Galvatron custom. Fantastic! zmog
thanks a bunch man. always good to hear from you. I definately agree. The head was definately the hardest part about the custom. Was my first time sculpting, so I'm happy with how it turned out, but could definately be sharper and better. I've been wanting to make a bonus head for him, using parts and styrene, but i can't find a face that fits the look and is the right size. I appreciate the kind words everyone!
What's the head you have on there now? Is that Tidal Wave? If so, yeah... that's a pretty big head. It'll be tough to find a similarly scaled substitute. Also, the head crest on Galvy is such a specific shape, I can't think of anything pre-made that you could use at that scale. I guess it needs to be a hand-sculpting project. zmog
The face on this guy just nails the "Galvatron" look for me. He is a really hard character to get right. You have done a fantastic job on this one!
