Rts lightspeed technobots

Hello all,

I've been working on this guy for the last few days and thought i'd post a little bit.

Its been a while since i've posted..

Here he is RTS Lightspeed, created from RTS Tracks mold

shaved off rear view mirrors
added a roof scoop and spoiler
used a sideswipe head and shaved the antenna's and added a visor
painted with metallic tamia red and white
its still kind of a wip, i need to paint the head lights white add some more weapons for alt mod and do some touch ups

Sorry pics are a little crappy, ill try to get some better quality pics and alt mode pics shortly

Still some touching up to do and i have to sand down some of the attachment for alt mode.

A car with a flight mode? Lightspeed would be so happy.

I love the paint of the car mode, so smooth and shiny, love the shade you used. Not sure it worked as well on the robot parts though, I can see white showing through in spots; maybe go over those bits with a darker red just to break up the color scheme a little? The headsculpt is very nice as well!

The white that's showing is from the flash on my phone reflecting off the paint. I dO need to break up the color scheme tho, maybe I'll dry brush the darker red on the robot parts

Amazing! Really quite impressed how well that mold works, hadn't though of it before. Do you have plans for the other two yet? I'm intrigued.

good eye,i never saw lightspeed in that mold,this means i don't have to go the route of the giant spiderman xover now!!(you just saved a spider

he does seem to need some g1-ish dark grey/black to help break him up a bit though.
the red just pops!!

Thanks guys,

I removed the wings so there is no more flight mode and I also made it so the roof lifts up like a futuristic car....
