The rubber hose/bubble part are going to be removed and replaced with a (whateverIcan find parts) custon cannon. Might also add grills/silver pipes to make him stand out more look more deadly. I have spotted a G2 Megs on Ebay from USA |

As I want to get the figure as close as possible to the G1 version I do need some Yellow/purple paints that match the paint as close as possible on the figure which i think I have at the moment. In regards to spray painting how do i prevent bubbles/lines appearing? I'm getting a bit annoyed by it as i have been testing it using a piece of styrene. Also can I use enamel paints or do they have to all be water-based? The bloke at the hobby store confused me a bit with the paint types. |

It sort of worked but I ended up scratching the plastic which i need to fix and I might try stronger solution as I still have some green bits on the yellow legs which looks odd. The harpoon has been completed using parts of the cannon and styrene pieces. Also made an attempt on the cannon which didn't quite work. I encountered a bit of problem with regards to painting it, how would i get nearest possible colour for the Impactor purple/Yellow legs? |

If you could/want, you can modify the head a bit to look more like impactor, but I can see this totally as a straight Has-Tak repaint too(like they did to the bludgeon you used that was just megs repainted, with no retool). Either way, what you've done here works. |

| Autobot Join Date: May 2011 Posts: 75 | Well my only question is: Should I use the G2 megs purple parts, or ree-piant completely the Bludgeion figure as it is a lighter colour so the paint will shine out more as i understand?? Also it would be impossible(expensive) to get a specific purple paint that matches the purple on the megs anyway as I have to re-paint-redo the gun itself. |
