Mindwipe was created from a G1 toy and classics Grapple for his legs and arms, he also has articulated evil hands which magnetically attach to the wrists offering a full range of motion. The wings have 3 shades of red and the main body is painted with a citadel acrylic and then highlighted with enamel paint, then finally a wash was applied to tone down the contrast in colour. The thighs and hands are painted with alclad 'steel' so the paint is very durable. This was then clearcoated with Alclad aswell so the finish is very resilient. Some spare parts were used to bulk up the torso. I really liked the alclad paints, I have used the chrome before but will definitely use them again after this outing. Vorath is made from a Halo figure, some accessories and a resin cast I made of G1 Vorath all painted up. He is pretty sturdy on his feet too! To transform him to headmaster you simply slide him in to the neck hole and bend the arms at the elbow, this also allows him to look side to side. More pics on my photobucket (link in sig) I cant believe i've finished a transformer a week, I felt like I was semi-retired for a while haha! C&C always welcome, also hes on eBay. I thought hands are always the same so i thought outside the box and threw on these ones from a spiderman figure 'carnage' They are articulated and I think suit the persona of mindwipe. Cheers DoubleCross on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2211346787...t_10088wt_1271 | |
