Amazing work as always Fakebusker. I know I'll be getting one upon release.

As for the side panels, maybe I'm a minority here but I don't really see them as adding anything substantial to the figure. I don't know.

Fantastic, as always!
I'm all up for the 5mm ports, as said before, it can't be a bad thing can it?
I don't suppose theres any chance you'd be working on a more show accurate head? Personally that bugs me way more than the shoulders

Do you mean the back fillers? Well without them there will be huge gaping holes on Knockout's side and back. That was what irked me the most about that figure, the hollowness of it all.

Granted, they look slightly out of place mounted in alt mode. I guess that's the compromise I'll have to make in regards to the design. The second iteration will be made more streamlined to fit the car better.

Modifying the chest will be a bigger challenge as they are large, curved pieces and are attached to the figure by metal pins. I don't think I can handle that kind of job right now, that's why they are out of the scope of this project.

I hear you guys about the 5mm port. I prefer to leave them in myself as the set will give him 3 weapons and he needs somewhere to keep them. I'll probably shift them to a more convenient location though.

As for the head, maybe not for now. The stock head is still passable (for me) and can be made to look better with an appropriate paintjob. Building a new head is a complex task.

Looks great, I like that you found a way to incorporate the extra pieces for vehicle mode, whilst they aren't necessary I think it's good you thought it might be wanted.

Personally I don't care about the hollowness. I display him facing forward so it never bugged me. Also looking at it now it doesn't seem that bad to me. Opinions will vary of course but that's me. I'll likely buy this for the weapons.
