I forgot all about that! Yes it does....I couldn't get a set from Venksta at the time and I didn't have the time to whip one up so it just worked out as a stand in. I fell in love with it.

Yes sir, it is! It has the same shape as the G1 rifle and it fits oh so very nicely between the arms in alt mode. It was pure luck!
