| butcher of the bots Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 1,114 Location: calgary Collection Count: literally a whole basement full News Credits: 1 | classics beefy devastator the big bot. first off,again,total props to ptitvite for cooking up this timeless formula.also to every other talented customizer out there that's done and shared their versions of this wrecking machine.you guys all inspired me with your versions. seperate bots had earlier threads for each,this thread is just for devastator. i wanted to mix up the formula a bit and try to add my own "beefier"spin to it. he does have waist articulation,and alot of the usual formulas(giant metal spine spear/primus back chuk/etc)weren't used in this version. the combiner parts when not forming devs all serve a seperate purpose. his chest shield is basically an aerial attack drone or can mount onto the main body chunk when it's in base mode. his forearms transform and link together into a four tread twin earth driller. all of the smaller bots weapons can attach to the main base mode,adding even more "pew pew pew" fun. as for weapons in base mode,....too many to list. post two will have somewhat in depth pics on how it all joints together. nuff talkie base mode ![]() ![]() ![]() base mode can be manned by almost any classics deluxe sized bot who can sit like a gijoe. scrapper having fun ![]() the buttons he gets to push ![]() a potential future add on, a driller mode? with scavenger ![]() ![]() four tread twin earth driller/forearms ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| butcher of the bots Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 1,114 Location: calgary Collection Count: literally a whole basement full News Credits: 1 | combination= this is what mixmaster looks like in leg mode. his male struxx connector takes care of the connection,while all the stock and altered toes on the rid hightower mold used for mixmaster flip around and lock him onto the upper thigh chunk of devs. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() scrapper attaches by pluggin his male struxx connector into one of the cannon barrels from base mode ![]() this is also where "scraplet" comes into play.he ends up becoming a cunk of abdominal armor for devs by plugging his square peg into the bottom slot that's stock on a energon demolisher for transformation. long haul is then inserted into the squared out cavity in the main chunk.his toes in alt mode are locked into slots that spin around to become supports for base mode. the two upper holes on his bed sides are filled with the connectors that are mounted on balljointed arms,courtesy of bionicle and lego. once that's done,then the two front chest chunks spin around,uding the hinges from enegon steam hammer's legs to lock him in on the front end too. this is a pretty solid chunk of plastic at this point. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by chansformers; 05-21-2012 at 09:39 PM.. | butcher of the bots Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 1,114 Location: calgary Collection Count: literally a whole basement full News Credits: 1 | see those two male struxx connectors convieniantly sticking out of the middles of the energon steamhamme leg chunks? those are what plugs into hooks fists after he's mistransformed. ![]() what hook looks like in his upper chest mode.his front hand flaps/knuckles ahd to be shaved right down in order to have him able to make a "square" flat brick. ![]() ![]() scavenger connects to the right forearm by slotting into a shaped cavity.he's locked in by two lego chunks.the a male struxx connector on his underside plug into the female struxx connctor on the front of hook's rear crane cab ![]() ![]() bonecrusher attaches to the left forearm by fitting into a shaped cavity and having a post shoved into his underside of his alt mode.his original rid landfill combiner chunk was altered with a struxx connector,which then plugs into the female struxx chunk on the back of hook's front ![]() his chest wing connects to the stock energon star port on longhaul/demolisher's front crotch with a giant post. his head is then plugged into the stock screw holes on the back side of the mudflap/hook mold's crotch. ![]() Last edited by chansformers; 05-21-2012 at 09:44 PM..
