TFCON Toxin Transtector

TFCON Toxin's stolen transtector. I love anything with headmasters, so I couldn't resist making Toxin a body/vehicle. I tried to modify the Chromedome body to add as much articulation as possible. This is actually difficult given the transformation. The arms were filled out so they wouldn't look as hollow as the G1 version with arms from another junker Chromdome. They end up a little bulky in car mode, but there have to be trade-offs. New fists plug into the arms. Adding joints to the hips and legs is very difficult because the hip joints pretty much have to mount below the crotch plate instead of behind it and the thighs have to be very thin to fit behind the knee pads. I used joints from a junker Cybertron Optimus Primal and leg/hip joints from Energon Landmine. A Decepticon tech spec module was modified to fit. The cockpit was modified to include an actual seat, controls, and steering. I added a gun that fits on top of the alt mode to differentiate it from Chrome dome a bit.

It was painted with an airbrush with all metallic paints, inked and dry-brushed to bringout the detail. I used Reprolables for Chromedome and Mindwipe.

Wow...I still have to repaint a Chromedome for my Toxin. I hope it turns out half as good as this one.

Man that's awesome work mate!
i have that snake headmaster and a beat-up Chromedome, been wanting to try this or similar but i don't have nearly the skill. But i love seeing it done!
