Just finished this 7.5 foot metroplex/shelving unit. i haven't had a chance to fill it up yet though. the front panels are all removable. i had a lot of fun making it.

lol wow this has created a huge impact on my mind cause now now every time i look at metroplex Im gonna think of this haha. Cool looking furniture, haha my house needs one of those

 

yea, mostly that dense press board stuff used in book shelves etc. so its crazy heavy. i used 2x12's down the center and across the top to re-enforce the boxes. all the doors are plastic so they're lighter.

 

Does it transform? Just kidding.

I've just spent 15 minutes staring at the pictures of this thing... It's completely & outstandingly awesome!! Is it free standing, or do you have it mounted to the wall?? Secondly, did you save the plans so you can sell a set to the rest of us??
