DOTM Leader Class Shockwave-WIP update

Here is my take on Shockwave, he is more on a supreme class though.. any way, im not really going for a screen accurate replica since i have a habit of being a bit more creative and adding my personal touches to my works..
Parts I've used so far are
-A huge 15" TF1 Optimus Prime
-Random Gundam parts for his head
-Random Tamiya Mini 4wd cars
-a lot of chains(which would be like driller's tentacles fused with shockwave)

5/18/12
base figure to be used, a huge 15" KO Optimus prime

5/20/12

redone the ribcage pieces to make them a lot more movie accurate than the first one i made, and trimmed down the bulk on his back

5/21/12

-added articulated shoulder plates(ball jointed)
-repositioned the ribcage once again
-added more bulk and detail to his upper body

great start! can't wait to see this finished. actually, these proportions are probably the best i've seen on a LC Shockwave head.

thanks man.. it is? lol... and here i was, thinking about how big his horns are for the head... =)

He now has LED for an eye..

yeah. this one looks really accurate and like a LC version of his voyager head. most of the other Shockwave custom heads i've seen are too fat and circular. this one is perfect. can't wait to see it painted. have you started on the body yet?

thanks man, i just copied the voyager head and scratchbuilt a bigger version of it.. i have not yet started on his body, still working on his head, since im still looking for a base figure to use for him..

wow this guy is going to be MASSIVE based off the scale of the head! Perhaps this is a counter to Encline Designs Oversized Optimus he is working on????
