Deadpool (More Merc, Less Mouth)

Well this was inevitable really. The Mattel WWE figs are fun to work with in turning them into Marvel characters so Deadpool was going to come sooner or later. I originally had this DP all ready to be painted around January but like usual I just put him in a baggie and had other things I wanted to get done first. I've had some extra time so I decided to get him all finished up. This isn't done after any one DP, but the one thing I wanted to achieve with him was to give him more of a serious Bad-A mercenary vibe as opposed to the zany deadpool we see a lot of. No doubt though I threw in some quirks with him.

Head: Pike (filled in all the seems with sculpt and smoothed entire face)
Base: Ricky the Dragon (styrene for costume piping, omac neck brace, MU Apoc Belt with lots of modifying/fabricating, retooled Survival Suit Bats for harness, just lots of fabricating with fodder and modified parts for gear)
Hands: HML WW2 Cap (sculpted DP symbols)
Boots: Pillman (modified with some sculpt, foamie, fodder)
Extra Head: ML Wolvie (repaint & added ear)

Bike: Maisto Suzuki (partially repainted with added worn details, license plate, etc.)
Base: TNA Sabin vs Nash ( sheet plastic, zip ties, full repaint to make it look like a roadway)
Weapons: Lots with lots of added little details.

And of course an entirely new paint job in the DP color scheme and we have ourselves a Deadpool.

*Fun thing to note about the Rocket Launcher, anyone who is a fan of or at least familiar with the Garbage Pail Kids should enjoy the picture on it as it is a tribute to the "Adam Bomb" card. Instead of Adam though its Deadpool and I dubbed it the "Dead'Em Bomb".

Nice, but the face just doesn't say "Deadpool." I know that's what you're intending, but, still.

The face harks back to the old days of dead pool when he was a bit more serious I think it's a very classic looking dead pool very well done jin your work as usual is amazing

this is honestly the best deadpool custom i've ever seen. Great work

Its almost perfect imo. The only thing i might suggest would be to use a matte black on the body rather than the gloss black. Would fit in with the realistic theme more. Otherwise custom is stunning.
